The Toshiba SD-V394 is a VCR/DVD recorder made by Toshiba in 2003. It was quite popular for the time, since DVD was just barely overcoming store and rental sales at the time of its release. The VHS compatibility is able to record non-copy protected DVDs and TV programs. The TV recording was possible with hookup of the TV coaxial cable being inserted into the back via an “IN” slot and being sent back to the TV with via an “OUT” slot.
